Michelle Merbeth, MC
Michelle Merbeth graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. Prior to moving to Arizona, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work
from the University of Stony Brook and worked for several years as a caseworker for a New York City based foster care agency.
Her therapeutic interest is in the treatment of families and children/adolescents. She has training and expertise in working with couples-communication, the treatment of domestic violence, S.M.A.R.T Recovery, play
therapy, parenting skills, emotionally focused therapy, anger management, and the development of cognitive skills. She provides individual, couple, family and group counseling. Christian/Spiritual
counseling is provided upon request.
Michelle presently facilitates the Cognitive Skills Group and a Domestic Violence Treatment group at the Center for Life Skills Development's Northwest location.
